Paul-Louis is Operating Principal in the Value Creation team. Paul-Louis chose to go into private equity to constantly expose himself to different sectors, meet inspiring people, develop new skills and continue to learn and train continuously. He is happy to be part of a thriving industry that promises to play a key role in shaping the world of tomorrow – while following his passion, meeting entrepreneurs and helping them grow and transform their businesses, as he had enjoyed doing for the past ten years along the way. For Paul-Louis, success is a collective project that involves helping others to progress and move forward at the same time as achieving a certain goal. This is why he was seduced by Seven2 and the values of empathy and high standards that the firm embodies. In addition to being one of the pioneers in private equity and a forerunner in supporting its portfolio companies for sustainable growth, Seven2 proves that it is possible to be demanding while putting people first. Paul-Louis is always stimulated by contact with others, those who live and function differently from him, whether they are entrepreneurs and managers he accompanies in his work, people from different cultures and social backgrounds, or his own children, who never cease to amaze him. A football and tennis fan, he also likes to go sailing or enjoy the beauty of an Italian landscape. Paul-Louis graduated from HEC and obtained a master’s degree in research from École Polytechnique in 2011. He started his career in the electric car industry at PSA before moving on to strategy consulting at Roland Berger. His experience at Verescence then gave him the opportunity to coordinate the restructuring of the company and to support it towards operational excellence. In 2014, Paul-Louis joined Shippeo, a French tech scale-up in the logistics sector, where he participated in the success of the company by developing its customer base. He joined Apax Partners (now Seven2) in 2022.
