Marco Conte is Director – Head of Italy and is based in Milano, Italy. A dynamic person with an entrepreneurial and inquisitive mindset, Private Equity provides Marco with a unique environment in which he can work alongside companies from a variety of sectors. He believes that success is primarily driven by people and that the relationship with entrepreneurs and managers is one of the core values in the industry. Joining Seven2 allows Marco to contribute to its already flourishing mix of Private Equity heritage, sector expertise, talent and passion: a mixture that will help midmarket companies embrace the challenges of today’s markets. Marco earned his MSc in Finance from Bocconi in 2006 and graduated from University of Padua in 2004. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in Milan and London. He also worked for Jupiter Finance and then Trilantic Europe, spending 12 years at the latter and setting up their Italian office. Marco was board member of Gamenet Group, Betty Blue (Elisabetta Franchi), Doppel Farmaceutici, Dietopack, Farmaceutici Procemsa et Trilantic Europe. He joined Apax Partners (now Seven2) in 2022.
