Bio

Dominica is Chief Sustainability Officer. Dominica is convinced that small and mid-size companies are the cornerstone of our economy. Representing 99% of all businesses in the EU, she believes they have an essential role to play in solving today’s key challenges, including climate change, resource efficiency and social cohesion. For her, private equity has a privileged position as it can help shape and finance tomorrow’s economy by guiding companies in their business transformations. At Seven2, she puts her 15+ years’ experience of sustainability and innovation to work. She steers the firm’s sustainability agenda and builds solutions that respond to stakeholders’ evolving needs. Despite the big challenges ahead, Dominica shares a strong desire to put sustainability at the heart of value creation. Dominica finds inspiration in working closely with people from different horizons and exchanging ideas. With a collaborative team-player mindset and a pragmatic can-do attitude, she loves to see her projects come to life and isn’t afraid to think outside of the box. In her free time, Dominica enjoys the great outdoors and catching up with friends and family. She is constantly looking for new ideas for trips and activities. She’s also an avid cyclist and always happy to go for a run. Dominica holds a master in Environment Development and Policy from Sussex University and a BA in Sociology from York University in the UK. After beginning her career in Brussels, working for various stakeholders (NGO, European Commission, Corporate) on environmental related topics, she moved to Paris in 2004 to become an ESG analyst for Vigeo, France’s leading non-financial rating agency. With a strong desire to apply sustainable practices at the company level, she joined AXA in 2008 as Head of Environment in the Group Sustainability Department. In 2014, Dominica decided to branch out of sustainability and get closer to the insurance business within AXA, where she developed expertise in product design, innovation and digital for both retail and commercial customers. She joined Apax Partners (now Seven2) in 2021.
