Aida Ben Lamine is Managing Director Business Development. Aida is a strong believer in the role private equity can play in helping entrepreneurs achieve their ambitions and grow their companies. She appreciates the dynamic environment and productive team work that enables her to constantly learn. Aida thrives on the challenge of spotting outstanding companies and ambitious entrepreneurs and building a trustworthy relationship with them. With its 45 years of experience and sector-focused approach, she believes the firm can serve as a strong sparring partner for entrepreneurs, in the good and sometimes hard times. She sees Seven2 as a committed and supportive investor, and a pioneer in digital and ESG. Aida enjoys meeting and debating with talented people every day. She is inspired by people willing to take risks to achieve their goals and overcome obstacles on their way. A proud mother of two with a multi-cultural profile, Aida connects easily with people from diverse backgrounds. And as a member of the Level20 program, she’s a strong advocate for gender diversity in the financial industry. Aida graduated from HEC business school in 2006 with a degree in Finance. She started her career in the Investment Banking division of Lehman Brothers in 2006 in London. In 2008, after Lehman Brothers’ bankruptcy, she transitioned to Nomura. Aida was focused on the Media and Telecom sectors in Europe and worked on various LBO, M&A and capital market transactions. Aida joined Apax Partners (now Seven2) in 2013 and is in charge of the firm’s Business Development activity.
