As a Principal at Serent Capital, Steve leads Serent's FinTech investment efforts. Prior to joining Serent, Steve worked in technology, private equity, and investment banking. He was co-founder and COO of Joyable, a digital therapy startup that was acquired by AbleTo. Steve helped lead Joyable’s growth, reaching hundreds of thousands of clients, scaling from two co-founders to over 40 employees, and raising over $10 million in funding. Prior to Joyable, Steve was a private equity investor at KKR & Co., where he focused on the financial services and industrials sectors. He began his career as an investment banker at Greenhill & Co. Steve received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He graduated cum laude in Economics from Harvard College and was the Managing Editor of The Harvard Crimson.
