Jim leads Human Capital operations for Serent Capital, working with board members and management teams at Serent portfolio companies to identify Executive talent requirements, recruit leaders into key roles, design Human Capital strategies, and execute those strategies. Prior to joining Serent, Jim held various leadership positions within the Fintech, BaaS, Wealth Management, and API sectors. Most recently, he led the build out of the Talent and HR strategies at Makini, an API company that enables industrial tech companies to connect with the facility management systems of their customers. Prior to Makini, Jim led the Talent strategy at Synctera, a leading BaaS company, where he focused on recruitment, employee development, partnerships, branding, DEIB, and reporting. Prior to Synctera, Jim developed and led the International Talent strategy (EMEA/ANZ) and owned the domestic Executive recruitment efforts at Envestnet | Yodlee. Jim holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he was a member of the Chancellor’s Leadership Program.
