Bio

Robin Lamb joined Seawall Capital in 2020, having spent 18 years partnering with management teams to help them realize the full potential of their businesses as an investor, a consultant, and an operator. Robin specializes in beauty & personal care, home goods, food & beverage, and tech-enabled goods and services. He also leads the firm’s focus on data, analytics and customer insights. Robin has worked with Matt and Kris since 2015. Robin is also currently a Principal at Tengram Capital Partners and a member of the board of directors of Algenist, an LA-based prestige dermocosmetic brand, and RéVive a New York-based luxury skincare brand. Robin led the firm’s focus on building digital marketing and e-commerce capabilities across its portfolio of investments. Prior to joining Tengram, Robin was a Principal at Bain & Company, a leading management consulting firm. At Bain, Robin focused on consumer brands and retail, with an emphasis on food and beverage brands, department stores and mass merchants. He specialized in due diligence for private equity clients, portfolio company value creation, omnichannel strategy and merger integration. Robin also has experience as an operator in mid-market companies where he focused on digital strategy and management. Robin earned his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Stanford University. Robin lives in New York City with his wife and two children and is active with charities supporting New York’s foster care services. He enjoys exploring the City’s restaurants and cultural institutions with his family and escaping to the Long Island beaches in the summer and Rocky Mountains in the winter.
