Prior to working with Searchlight, Ms. Chambers served as EVP, Chief Strategy, Product and Marketing Officer for Western Union. Previous roles included serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Barclays and Barclaycard, also leading its co-branded cards business in the UK, and C-level marketing and strategy roles with Bank of America, Freshfields and Reader’s Digest. She is a former Partner in the Financial Institutions and Organization practices at McKinsey & Company, Inc. Ms. Chambers is currently as an independent director on the boards of Wise plc, TSB Bank plc, Vanquis Banking Group plc, Currensea, and Evelyn Partners. In connection with her Searchlight role, she serves on the board of Sightline Payments. With financial services as a career-long focus, she built an extensive strategy and product development track record (including leadership of teams that drove the development of contactless and mobile payments over the last two decades) and has advised some of the world’s leading global technology and e-commerce companies on their payments strategies. Ms. Chambers received an AB in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
