Scott, who joined Seaport in 2003, has over 20 years of private equity investing experience. His responsibilities include sourcing and structuring new investment opportunities as well as working with Seaport portfolio companies. He focuses on service providers in the communications and infrastructure markets as well as on software investments. Scott is also active in the ongoing management of Seaport’s operations and investment activities. Scott joined Seaport after five years at BancBoston Capital, the private equity arm of FleetBoston Financial, where he was a Director in the media and communications group. Prior to business school, he spent four years as a derivatives trader in the US and Germany. Scott received an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and graduated cum laude from Harvard College with an AB in Economics.
