A Managing Partner, Ted invests primarily in venture and growth stage private companies, with time allocated to internal management, asset allocation and firm strategy. He has led or co-led a number of Schooner investments including 4G Clinical (acquired by Goldman Sachs Asset Management), Millstone Medical Outsourcing (acquired by Arlington Capital), Seventh Generation (acquired by Unilever), MediaSilo (acquired by Marlin Equity), Topokine Therapeutics (acquired by Allergan), StyleFeeder (acquired by Time Inc.), Mimetogen Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Allergan), and Best Doctors (acquired by Brown Brothers). Presently, he is a director at Zixi, Cartesian Therapeutics, SRS Medical, and Spotted Risk. Prior to joining Schooner in 2003, he worked for Fidelity Capital, Leo Burnett and subsidiaries of The Washington Post Company. He was also a mediocre entrepreneur. Ted is a past director at several not-for-profits and co-chaired Friends of Dartmouth Soccer for a number of years. Ted holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College, studying Mandarin.
