Michael Marocco began his career at Morgan Stanley in 1984 as a high-yield Research Analyst covering the communications industry. Mr. Marocco later joined the investment banking division, where he was responsible for corporate finance and M&A coverage of communications companies. In 1990, he co-founded the private equity group at Sandler. Since 1990, he has sourced and managed investments across a wide range of companies both domestically and internationally, including cable television, broadcasting, B2B and consumer publishing, marketing services, Internet media, wireless services and infrastructure, broadband services and movie theaters. Mr. Marocco has a B.A. from the University of Southern Maine and an M.B.A. from New York University. Mr. Marocco currently serves on the following portfolio company boards: XPlornet, Farelogix and Modulant Solutions.
