Scott Wu is a Partner and Chief Technology Officer at Sagard. He is a member of the value creation team and joined the firm in 2022. He is based in Toronto, Canada. Prior to Sagard, Scott was the CTO and Co-founder at Compass Digital Labs, a subsidiary of Compass Group. Compass Group is a global leader in food services, providing meals to millions of people across 45 countries and generating $30B+ a year in revenue. He was responsible for Product Management, Data Science and Analytics, UX Design and Research, and Software Engineering. Under his leadership, his team has created a mobile food ordering, pick-up, and delivery platform deployed in thousands of locations in the US. In 2021, his team launched Compass’ first AI platform that sold consumer purchase behaviour insights to companies like Red Bull. Scott also created Compass Digital Ventures, a CVC focused on investing in food-tech startups that will help make the food experience of the future. Scott holds a BEng degree from the University of Toronto and an MBA from York University.
