Joachim Hug has been managing director of Süd Beteiligungen GmbH (SüdBG) since August 2000 and its predecessor companies in the investment business of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg. Prior to joining SüdBG, Mr Hug was a member of the Executive Board of 3i Deutschland and Deutsche Beteiligungsgesellschaft. With over 30 years of professional experience, he has extensive experience in investment banking and private equity. The development of equity solutions for German SMEs is the focus of his work; This also includes the assumption of mandates in supervisory bodies. After completing his training as a banker at the University of Freiburg, Mr. Hug is a graduate economist.
