As CEO of Ardurra, Ernesto oversees all internal operations and acquisition efforts of the company. He is a seasoned Professional Engineer with 28+ years of experience across operations management, business development, client management and program / project management at the state, local and federal levels. Ernesto grew up in Montreal, Canada, where he studied Civil Engineering with a major in Structural Engineering at Concordia University. In Vancouver, Ernesto started his own municipal firm which he eventually dold. He then joined John Powell & Associates, a water firm based in Southern California. When the company was acquired by PBS&J, Ernesto ran the Western Region for the combined business. In a subsequent acquisition by Atkins, Ernesto was tapped to run the North America Infrastructure Engineering Group out of Boston, MA, where he grew it to a $150M business with 1,000 employees. In 2014, Ernesto moved to NV5, where he managed their Infrastructure division. During his tenure at the firm, Ernesto helped NV5 grow from 200 to 2,400 employees in just four years — becoming a $400M company through 28 acquisitions. Ernesto plays an active role in the engineering community as a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geo-Scientists of British Columbia (APEGBC), the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the American Public Works Association (APWA).
