Mr. Carlson is Co-founder, CEO and Managing Partner of Roebling Capital Partners (“RCP”). He leverages two decades of experience in buy-and sell-side M&A transactions, corporate finance, strategy, and capital markets. An exceptionally skilled negotiator, Mr. Carlson has structured and successfully brought to close countless M&A and lower-middle-market private equity transactions. He is a master at deal structuring, company positioning, transaction consequences, transaction risk mitigation, negotiations, due diligence, financial analysis and modeling, and portfolio-monitoring. Currently, Mr. Carlson is Managing Director and Shareholder at VonLehman, a CPA and Advisory Firm based in Northern Kentucky, where he is focused on M&A advisory services. In this and previous roles, he has originated new relationships and transactions with local business owners and their trusted advisors and has built innumerable relationships with the business community through his philanthropic and personal activities. As a native Kentuckian, Mr. Carlson participates in a number of locally-based professional and civic organizations that encourage and empower youth, provide businesses with resources and needed capital and assist those with healthcare needs. He is a founding member of A Greater Cincinnati, co-founder of Southeastern Young Association in Nashville/Charlotte and member and past President of the St. Elizabeth Foundation Young Patrons Guild. He is Co-Chair of the Executive Challenge component of the American Heart Association’s annual Heart Chase event, participates in the Lion’s Club of Fort Thomas, KY and is active in Accounting for Kids. Focused on advancing and assisting those in need in Northern Kentucky, Mr. Carlson serves on the board of Life Learning Center, is active in the Northern Kentucky Giving Circle and is a member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Leadership Northern Kentucky Class of 2020.
