Prior to forming Rock Island, Mr. Mattaliano was a Principal with Catalyst/Hall, a middle market private equity and mezzanine fund. At Catalyst/Hall, Mr. Mattaliano was responsible for the origination, negotiation and due diligence of investment opportunities. Prior to Catalyst/Hall, Mr. Mattaliano was a founder and Partner at Vine Street Partners, a middle market investment bank, where he was responsible for the origination and execution of merger and acquisition and capital raising assignments for a broad array of middle market companies. Prior to Vine Street, Mr. Mattaliano was a Vice President in the Corporate Finance Department of Bankers Trust Company and a Second Vice President at American National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago. Mr. Mattaliano received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and a MM in Finance and Accounting from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
