Nate joined Roark in 2020 and is a member of Roark’s Investment Committee. Nate is also a member of Roark’s Responsible Investment Committee. Prior to joining Roark, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Accenture Strategy, an approximately $2.5 billion management consulting business where he was responsible for driving global strategic and operational priorities across the business. He also served as the global client practice leader for the Talent and Organization practice. Prior to that, Nate led Talent Strategy and Leadership Development for all of Accenture globally. He joined Accenture in 2014 and was appointed Senior Managing Director in 2016, and was a member of Accenture’s Global Leadership Council. Prior to his time at Accenture, Nate spent nine years at McKinsey & Company, where he left as a Principal leading the firm’s global client practice on leadership development. At McKinsey & Company, Nate served clients in a variety of industries and on a variety of strategic priorities, with an emphasis on achieving transformational change. Prior to that, Nate served as a human intelligence officer in the United States Marine Corps. He deployed for both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom before being honorably discharged as a Captain in 2004. Nate received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy.
