Bio

Darrell has 25 years of business strategy, leadership and operating experience. Darrell is currently the Founder and President of Corrective Education Company (CEC), a technology and education company that provides services to retailers and the government as a restorative justice offering to help streamline our criminal justice system and give offenders a second chance. ​ During his time at LexisNexis, he led the turnaround of two declining business units... (cont.) and was promoted to Vice President and Managing Director of its $300 million Business Information Group. Darrell also led and launched a complete reinvention of its legal research platform. Prior to LexisNexis, Darrell worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company on strategy, M&A, and operational improvement initiatives with companies in software, manufacturing, retail, and business services. ​ Darrell is an engineer by background and spent his early career with 3M Company where he worked in their prestigious Optimized Operations group working on process and operations improvement. He led projects in Thailand and Malaysia, as well as Ann Arbor, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois. ​ Darrell earned a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University where he received an Outstanding Service Award as President of the AIChE, and served on the Board of the BYU Chemical Engineering Alumni group. Darrell also earned an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was active in its student ethics and honor system.
