Mr. Hughes is a Vice President of Riverstone, focused on the Firm’s credit and capital markets activities. He is based in Houston. Prior to joining Riverstone in 2018, Mr. Hughes was a Vice President in the Natural Resources Group at Morgan Stanley. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he worked as an Analyst in the Natural Resources Group at Nomura. While at Morgan Stanley and Nomura, Mr. Hughes evaluated and executed M&A transactions and capital markets financings across the oil and gas sector. Mr. Hughes graduated from Texas Christian University, where he earned a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting.
