Mr. Jones is a Partner of Riverstone and Co-Head of Private Equity. He is based in New York. Since joining Riverstone in 2001, Mr. Jones has been active across a variety of sectors in the energy industry, with significant experience in midstream, natural gas and mining. His specific transactional experience includes investments in Ascent Resources, Hammerhead Resources, PVR, Vantage, AMCI, Foresight, Niska, Buckeye, Magellan, and Quintana Shipping, as well as in the renewable space through Kramer Junction. Prior to joining Riverstone, Mr. Jones was an Associate in the M&A group at J.P. Morgan in New York. Mr. Jones received his B.S. in Commerce with concentrations in both Finance and Accounting from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
