Bio

Mr. Karian is a Managing Director of Riverstone. He is based in Houston. Prior to joining Riverstone in 2010, Mr. Karian worked at Quantum Energy Partners, an energy-focused private equity firm. Prior to that, Mr. Karian worked at J.P. Morgan’s Investment Bank in the Natural Resources division, where he was involved in a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory assignments, and capital markets financings for clients engaged in all facets of the energy industry. Mr. Karian is a licensed CPA and graduated with highest honors from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, where he earned an M.P.A. and a B.B.A in Accounting and Finance.
