Scott is Co-Founder and a Principal of Riverstone and a member of the firm's investment committee. Scott is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and analyzing investments. He has extensive operating experience and will be actively involved in leading continuous improvement efforts across the Riverstone portfolio. Scott also oversees the day to day operations of all manufactured home communities within Riverstone Communities. The acquisitions, finance, human resources, information technology, and operations functions report to Scott on a daily basis. Scott joined Riverstone Communities as a partner in 2005 and his leadership has allowed Riverstone Communities to expand into target markets outside of its traditional Southern Florida portfolio. Prior to joining Riverstone Communities, Scott invested in multi-family real estate in the metro Detroit area. In 1995, Scott founded an internet consulting and programming company which he successfully sold in 1997. Two months after the sale, the acquirer completed its initial public offering. Scott acted as a Managing Partner for the Silicon Valley based company for two years following the IPO. Scott graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Marketing.
