Hein F.J. Ploegmakers (42, Dutch) joined Gilde in 1999 and has since been involved in numerous investments in the Benelux. Hein led several public-to-private transactions in The Netherlands and is responsible for Gilde’s Portfolio Enhancement Program (PEP), through which he is actively involved in many of Gilde’s investments. Prior to joining Gilde, Hein worked in the M&A group of Morgan Stanley in London from 1998 until 1999. Hein obtained his Masters degree in Economics at Maastricht University (Netherlands), after completing a graduate training program at Rabobank International’s risk management department.
