Bio

Since 2013 he has been a co-founder and managing partner of Rigeto. Richard previously worked for many years in responsible positions in the investment business (e.g. Orlando Management AG), in M&A at Deutsche Bank and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, after studying mechanical engineering and a doctorate at the Technical University of Munich and studying business administration at the LMU Munich. He has also held numerous managerial positions, including at BHT Hygienetechnik, the EIS Aircraft Group and at Interlübke. The experience he gained here allows him to support the companies acquired by Rigeto in a level-headed, considered manner. His industry focus is in the areas of industrial goods, medical technology, security/communications and aviation and in particular in the responsible companies in the consumer goods industry. In addition to building growth-oriented organizations around successful entrepreneurs, he is particularly concerned with securing and strengthening family corporate cultures. In addition to his work at Rigeto, Richard is a member of the TEG Board of Trustees and of YPO Munich. He is married, lives in the south of Munich and is the father of three sons.
