Javier is the Chairman of Realza Capital. He is currently Vice Chairman of Fotowatio and Board Member of J. García Carrión, Dragados, Cartera Industrial Rea and Infoempleo. He is also Patron of the Instituto de Empresa Foundation. Javier Benjumea spent nineteen years at the Private Equity firm Mercapital, joining the company as General Manager in 1987 and becoming CEO and Vice Chairman in 1994 and 1999, respectively. Javier Benjumea holds an MBA from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid (1980) and a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (1970).
