Bio

Sameer Rizvi founded RDCP Group with Iryna Dubylovska in the summer of 2015. He predominantly splits his time between capital allocation, deal origination and portfolio management. Sameer leads the firm’s initiatives on originating dealflow. He maintains relationships with a network of investment bankers and mid-market advisors. He also has the final say on capital allocation. Finally, Sameer works closely with the CEOs of each portfolio company, helping them make key board-level strategic decisions. Sameer started his career in investment banking, working at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Commerzbank in London. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from McGill University in Canada. Sameer is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder. He was the youngest CFA in the history of the institute when he received the honour in 2015. Sameer has also been recognised on the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Finance list.
