Bio

Ryan Kirkpatrick has spent over 20 years investing in and supporting emerging and innovative companies. Ryan began his career in private equity at Peloton Equity (f.k.a. Ferrer Freeman & Company), a leading healthcare private equity firm focused on growth investing with over $1 billion in capital under management. After a long stint in New York, Ryan decided to return to his hometown, Denver, to launch and co-manage the Colorado Impact Fund, an early-stage fund that invested in Colorado-based companies in healthcare, education, and clean energy. Ryan is passionate about meaningfully impacting his surroundings and servant leadership. This has led to a career of relentlessly supporting his portfolio company partners, building investment organizations that optimize outcomes for a diverse set of stakeholders, and leaning into various community organizations where he can leverage his diverse set of skills and experiences. Ryan’s craving for elevating the private industry and improving the outcomes for founders led him to Rallyday, where as a Director, he quarterbacks all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, deal execution, value creation, and exit. Ryan is a proud (and rare) Colorado native and local sports fanatic. In his free time, Ryan serves as a Director of Wellpower, the largest provider of mental health services in Denver, and an Advisor to the Gates Center of Regenerative Medicine, which has conducted groundbreaking stem cell research for cancer and rare diseases. Ryan loves hiking, fishing, skiing, and exploring the Rocky Mountains with his wife, Elizabeth, and his girls, Lila and Caroline. Ryan holds a degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton and an MBA from The Wharton School.
