John Trinquero is an investment banker and private equity investor with a passion for partnering with lower middle market companies in their early stages of growth. After training as an investment banker with Barclays, John joined Paine Schwartz Partners, the largest investor focused exclusively on upstream food & agriculture investing globally. During his roughly six year tenure there, John co-led multiple platform and add-on transactions ranging from $50 million to over $1 billion in enterprise value. John’s experience working with a wide range of founder-led, high-growth companies as a trusted advisor and capital partner over the last decade-plus provides him with a unique ability to build strong, trusted relationships with the leadership teams he serves. A former Eagle Scout, John has a passion for continuous leadership development and helping to bring out the best in people. At Rallyday, John quarterbacks the investment teams for the portfolio companies he serves. He demonstrates an ability to simultaneously juggle multiple priorities at once while still never losing energy around loving the work and ensuring the team has a crazy good time together! Outside of his professional contributions, John helps keep the Rallyday office updated on all things college football, most notably his alma mater’s (University of Georgia) path to their next championship. In his free time, John loves spending time in the outdoors snowboarding, hiking and golfing. He lives in Denver with his wife, son and German Shepherd. John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia.
