Bio

Jon co-founded Rainier Partners in 2020 and is a Managing Partner. Prior to Rainier, Jon was a Managing Director of Gemspring Capital. Prior to Gemspring, he worked at Bain Capital and Altamont Capital Partners. He began his investing career at Berkshire Partners after working as a consultant at Bain & Company. Jon received his AB from Dartmouth College, graduating as Valedictorian, and his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. Jon grew up in Seattle, where he currently lives with his wife and daughter. He serves on the Investment Committee of the Swedish Medical Center Foundation. Jon is an avid skier and traveler. He loves being outdoors in the Pacific Northwest year-round (whether raining or not) hiking, cycling, and running.
