Experienced Chief Operating Officer with over 20 years in managing cross-border business operations for multiple alternative investment firms. Simon Joiner is based in London and is responsible for all non-investment functions across all Quinbrook global offices. Prior to joining Quinbrook, Simon was Global Chief Operating Officer at AMP Capital, an international investment manager with >USD 120 billion of assets-under-management across both alternative and traditional asset classes. Simon held responsibility for all of AMP Capital’s global operations and was Chair of the UK and US management boards, managing the building of the operational infrastructure for the international private markets business that grew to become one of the Top 10 Infrastructure Asset managers in the world. Prior to his appointment as Global COO, Simon was COO for The Americas, Europe, Middle East, India and Singapore and Head of European Sales and Investor Relations. Simon began his career in the hedge fund industry, principally with HSBC Asset Management and then GLG Partners, one of the largest hedge funds in Europe at the time. Simon holds a BSc. in Business Administration from Cardiff University, United Kingdom.
