Bio

J.B. is a Managing Director at Quantum focused on Energy Transition and Decarbonization. Prior to joining Quantum, he spent more than ten years at The Carlyle Group. While at Carlyle, J.B. focused on investing equity capital across power, renewables, and energy transition opportunities, and served on numerous portfolio company boards. Prior to Carlyle, J.B. was a member of the investment team at Bregal Energy, a growth equity fund focused on North American energy investments, and he began his career at UBS Investment Bank in the power and utilities group. J.B. graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
