Brett Holcomb joined Prospect Partners in 2009 and became a Principal of the firm in 2017. Before joining the firm, he was an Associate in the Chicago office of the middle-market private equity firm American Capital, Ltd. At American Capital, he assisted in deal origination and execution, and also in the monitoring of portfolio companies. Earlier, Brett was an Analyst in the Chicago office of the investment banking firm Bear Stearns & Co., Inc., where he provided merger and strategic advisory services and debt and equity financing for companies across a diverse set of industries. Brett serves as Chairman of Minuteman Holdings, LLC, Navix Holdings Corp., QMI Holding, Inc., and Waste Harmonics Holdings, LLC. He is a Director of ESI Lighting, Inc., Owen Equipment Holdings Corp., WDP Holdings Corp., and Wedgewood Hospitality Group, Inc. He previously served as a Director of Codel Holding Company, Knight Packaging Group, Inc., and Spirit Foodservice Products, Inc. Brett earned a B.A. from Kenyon College, and an M.B.A., with distinction, from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
