Bio

Prior to forming Prospect Partners, Rick Tuttle was Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for Health Care & Retirement Corp. (now Manor Care, Inc.), a $4 billion healthcare services company. In five years at HCR, he established and directed a corporate development program that resulted in over 40 acquisitions and created complementary lines of business that contributed to HCR's significant success. From 1987 to 1992, Rick was a Principal with Golder, Thoma & Cressey (now GTCR), where he was involved with investing in and building companies through acquisition, including Cable Design Technologies (now Belden Inc., a NYSE company), a highly successful manufacturer of electronic wire and cable. From 1983 to 1987, he worked as a Manager at McKinsey & Company, consulting to major multi-national clients on business strategy and organization. Prior to receiving his MBA, he was Manager of Operations for a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum. At Prospect Partners, Rick is Chairman of the following platform companies: All Glass & Windows Holdings, Inc., ESI Lighting, Inc., Polymer Holding Corporation, Tender Products, Inc., and WDP Holdings Corp. He serves as a Director of Innovetive Petcare Holdings, LLC, and QMI Holding, Inc. He was previously Chairman of Excello Products, LLC, Marina Medical Billing Service, Inc., Office Resources Holding Company, Optronics Products, Inc., Remuda Ranch Company, Utility Service Partners, Inc., and Velvac Holdings, Inc., and was previously a Director of Pipp Mobile Storage Systems Holding Company. Rick's outside Board positions include a directorship of Hyatt Hotels Corporation. He also served as a Director of Manor Care, Inc., until its acquisition by the global private equity firm The Carlyle Group in December 2007, and he also was a Director of Cable Design Technologies for 17 years. Rick received a B.A. from Stanford University and an M.B.A from Stanford University's Stanford Graduate School of Business.
