Bio

Dr. Eisenberg joined the firm in 2013. He currently serves as a director of Siromed, and was a former director of Urology Management Associates and . Previously, Dr. Eisenberg co-founded Sheridan Healthcare in 1994 and served as its Chairman and CEO from 1994-2012. He served as Executive Chairman in 2013 and remained on the board untill July 2014 when Sheridan sold to the public company AmSurg. During his tenure as Chairman and CEO, he has been instrumental in Sheridan’s multiple financial transactions counting an IPO in 1995 and four private equity sales including a leveraged buyout led by J.W. Childs from 2004-2007. Under his leadership as CEO, both revenues and EBITDA grew in excess of 20x. He has also served on the Memorial Hospital and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation boards since 2006, and is presently Chairman. Dr. Eisenberg is also co-founder and CEO of Advanced Recovery Systems (ARS), which provides full range of services in the treatment of alcohol and substance abuse at multiple national facilities. Dr. Eisenberg graduated Cum Laude from Muhlenberg College in 1972. He received his M.D. from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1976, the same year he was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA), the national medical honor society. Dr. Eisenberg completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New England Deaconess Hospital, and his Anesthesia residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. Both programs are associated with Harvard Medical School. He holds board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology.
