Fernando Ortiz is Managing Partner of ProA and founding shareholder in 2007. He is responsible for the direction of the firm and together with its partners in the investment process. From ProA Capital's investment portfolio, Mr. Ortiz's involvement in investment operations in Saba, Eugin, Ibermática, Ambuibérica, Hospital de Llevant, Avizor, Grupo Vips, Moyca, and Pastas Gallo stand out. Prior to the founding of ProA, Mr. Ortiz was a partner in the N + 1 group and a member of its Management Committee, a firm he joined in 2001. Mr. Ortiz has extensive experience in venture capital funds and venture capital, having previously worked as Director of the New Technologies Venture Capital Fund at BBVA. He has also been Director of Corporate Finance at ING Barings participating in various M&A transactions. Mr. Fernando Ortiz began his professional career at Arthur Andersen Fiscal and Legal Advisors in 1992, today Garrigues, where he worked for five years as a lawyer specialized in tax law. Mr. Ortiz has a Law and Business Degree from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE, E-3) in Madrid. He speaks English and French.
