Bio

Jonathan Babkow is a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Residential Credit at Pretium, where he is responsible for the management of the residential credit business. Mr. Babkow joined Pretium in 2018 with over 25 years of experience in mortgage whole loans including non-performing and re-performing loans. Prior to joining Pretium, Mr. Babkow was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he was most recently Head of Residential Loan Trading. Prior to that, he was with Bear Stearns for nearly 20 years, where he oversaw the Distressed Residential Loan and Mortgage Servicing businesses. Mr. Babkow is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. He received a BS from Franklin & Marshall College, where he serves on the Board of Trustees.
