Bio

Pieter Paul van Halem (1964) has been active in the PE-business for over 25 years. After working for Citibank, the investment company AGAB and Arthur Andersen Management Consulting, he was Investment Director at 3i from 1998 to 2001. From 2001, Pieter van Halem was co-founder, managing partner and board member of CornerstoneCapital Group, Frankfurt and Heidelberg, whose investment focus was on Mittelstand companies. Over the past 20 years, he has launched several funds and completed, managed and successfully exited more than 15 buyout transactions and growth financings and as many add-on acquisitions. During this time, he held various supervisory board and advisory board mandates in Mittelstand companies. With the expiration of the funds in 2020, Pieter van Halem joined the partnership of PREMIUM in April 2021. He studied business administration at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel and holds an MBA from the University of Virginia.
