Claudia Baron is a partner and head of primary fund investments at PPM America Capital Partners, the private equity arm of PPM America, Inc. (PPM). In this role, she monitors the team’s primary fund investments and seeks new fund opportunities. Prior to joining the firm in 2008 (previously worked for PPM from 1993 to 1999), Claudia held operational roles, including chief financial officer of a technology company and chief executive officer/general manager of a winery in northern California. Claudia earned a master’s degree in finance and management information systems from the University of Illinois and a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from the University of Michigan.
