Bio

Michel Tamer is a founding partner and member of PMC Capital, primarily responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, valuation, transaction execution, operational improvements and portfolio oversight. Prior to becoming PMC Capital’s Managing Partner in 2019, Michel was Director of Business Affairs for PMC Global, Inc. (“PMC”), a privately-held, California-based, family office founded in 1971. PMC’s diverse, billion dollar plus portfolio includes companies in chemicals, clean energy, pharmaceuticals, plastics, packaging, construction, financial services, machinery/fabrication, and health and beauty industry. PMC and its subsidiaries employ more than 3,500 worldwide. While at PMC, Michel collaborated directly with and supported Executive Management with company acquisitions and strategic investments and divestments, joint ventures and other corporate transactions both domestically and internationally. Lead and supported the development of projects and deliverable for Executive Management as well as exploring synergistic business expansions. Prior to PMC, Michel was an Executive Director and Chief Legal Officer at Skyview Capital, LLC, maintaining full accountability for handling all aspects of M&A activities in support of the successful private investment firm that specializes in the acquisition and strategic management leading services and technologies. Michel earned his B.A. Degree from Loyola Marymount University, his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and attended Pepperdine University School of Law during his last year of law school. Michel is fluent in Arabic, and conversational in Armenian and French.
