Chris Aye is a co-founder, partner and member of PMC Capital. Chris has a catalog of experience in business consulting, initial public offerings, venture capital, mergers & acquisitions and entrepreneurship. At PMC Capital, Chris is active in all investment related decisions and activities, including deal sourcing, negotiations and transaction execution, and portfolio management. In addition, Chris plays a vital role in the firm’s objective to build a diversified portfolio of companies with patient flexible capital. Chris has extensive investing and transaction expertise. Prior to co-founding PMC Capital, Chris was the COO, Head of M&A at Skyview Capital, LLC and was a member of its executive and investment committees. Chris was responsible for negotiating and structuring all buy-side and sell-side transactions and ongoing oversight across the firm’s portfolio of both venture capital and private equity investments. Early in his career, Chris spent time at Amgen, one of the world’s leading and most innovative biotechnology companies. During this time, Chris gained high level experience in mergers & acquisitions, research and development practices, sales & marketing goals and learned to drive effective lean six sigma manufacturing operations. Chris also holds years of professional services experience working as a business consultant and CPA for Arthur Andersen/Andersen Consulting Group. Chris served the firm’s world-wide clients in many industries including hospitality, business services, manufacturing, software and technology. Chris is a graduate of the Marshall School of Business (MBA) at the University of Southern California (USC) and the University of California, Santa Barbara (B.A., Business Economics with a concentration in accounting). Chris is an active board member to several companies, sits on a school advisory board, active member of USC’s Marshall Alumni Mentorship Program and is active in philanthropy.
