Bio

Prior to co-founding PINOVA in 2007, Martin Olbort was managing shareholder of a leading operating in the transport equipment sector. Before that, he worked at 3i in Germany and Switzerland for eight years. During this time, he led investments in various “Mittelstand” companies in the German-speaking countries and was responsible for automotive sector activities. Prior to joining 3i, Martin Olbort spent three years as a business analyst at Philip Morris Germany. Since 2006, he has served as a board member at Oryx Stainless AG, one of the world's largest stainless steel scrap recyclers. Martin Olbort studied Business Administration in Erlangen-Nuremberg and holds a Master's degree from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland (Lic. oec. HSG).
