Stefan focuses on investment opportunities in the Technology sector, specialising in software and consumer digital. He also serves on the Permira Growth Opportunities Investment Committee. Stefan has worked on a number of transactions including Adevinta, Ancestry, BestSecret, Cielo, FlixBus, FullStory, Klarna, McAfee, Nexthink, P&I, ProSiebenSat.1, SonarSource, TeamViewer and Tilney. He is currently a Non-Executive Director at FlixBus, McAfee, P&I and TeamViewer and Board Observer at Adevinta. Prior to joining Permira, Stefan worked as an Associate in investment banking at Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup in New York and Hong Kong for four years. He was part of Citigroup’s New York Media and Telecom M&A practice and was previously part of Citigroup’s Asia Pacific Technology practice. Stefan has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the European Business School, Germany. He also studied at Thunderbird School of Global Management, USA, as well as the National University of Singapore, Singapore.
