Marek Chłopek is responsible for implementing investment strategy, deal structuring, negotiations and risk management. Prior to founding Penton Partners, he served as a Senior Investment Officer and Executive Director at Copernicus Asset Management, manager NIF Fund Holdings responsible for all business and investment decisions, and was previously Deputy Director at Barclay’s joint venture, Trinity Management, manager of the Third National Investment Fund of Poland’s mass privatization program. He has served on numerous Boards of Directors of private and public companies including Chairman of the Board of the National Investment Fund PIAST, Chairman of the Board of Druk-Pak, CFO of Druk-Pak, and Board member at ERGIS (listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange). He holds an MA from the Warsaw University of Technology, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Polish licensed stock broker.
