Mike is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at PCM. He co-leads the operations of the firm with Steve Faraone and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Mike currently sits on the boards of 123Dentist, P3 Veterinary Partners, The Fertility Partners, EHN Canada, and Unison Risk Advisors. Prior to co-founding PCM, Mike was a Managing Director at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan where he led the firm’s private equity investment activity in the Financial Services sector. During his 13-year tenure at OTPP, Mike played lead roles on a number of notable investments, including: BroadStreet Partners, Canada Guaranty, APCO Holdings, First American Payment Systems, GCAN Insurance and others. Mike started his career in strategy consulting at Bain & Company in the firm’s Toronto office and held a variety of operating roles at Delano Technology Corporation – a Toronto-based CRM software company. Mike holds a B.Comm (1st Class Honours) from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and an MBA (High Distinction) from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He also completed the Directors Education Program at the Institute of Corporate Directors at The Rotman School of Management.
