Bio

Wendell has over twenty years of private equity, entrepreneurial and executive management experience in media and communications. Wendell joined Peachtree in 2009 as a partner. Prior to Peachtree, Wendell founded Grapevine Communications, a venture-backed group of eight television stations. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer of Lamar Advertising Company (NASDAQ: LAMR) and Haas Publishing Companies. Wendell currently serves as Managing Partner of Grapevine Partners and CEO of SignPost Networks, LLC, a Grapevine portfolio company offering a network of electronic (LED) displays in rail stations. Wendell serves on the Board of Brown and Brown, Inc. (NYSE: BRO) and Lamar Advertising Company as well as the Board of Trustees of Emory University. Wendell earned an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University and a B.A. in English from Emory University.
