Will Chen is a Managing Director in the Private Equity Technology Industry Vertical, based in Denver. He is a member of the Private Equity Direct Co-investments, extension secondaries and Direct Lead growth investments in Technology. Will has over 21 years of industry experience. He has proven investment origination experience within the technology and software sectors and has led successful value creation programs at multiple portfolio companies. Prior to joining Partners Group, Will was a Managing Director in the Corporate Private Equity Group within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. While at Goldman Sachs, he served on the board of directors for software and tech-enabled services companies such as Sterling, Aptos, CommerceHub and Fortress Information Security. Previously, he held positions at Apax Partners and Bain & Company. He has an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS and MS from the School of Engineering at Stanford University.
