Bio

Vageesh Gupta is Head of Partners Group's Mumbai office and is a part of the Private Equity Goods and Products business unit. He is a member of the Private Equity Direct Co-Investments, extension secondaries and direct lead growth investments in Goods and Products Investment Committee as well as member of the Board of Directors of the firm's portfolio company Ecom Express. He has 18 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Partners Group, he worked at TA Associates, where he led the firm's investment efforts in the consumer and healthcare sectors in India, and at Sequoia Capital and McKinsey & Co. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, France, where he was a member of the Dean's List, and a bachelor's degree in economics from St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi. Vageesh is a member of the Mumbai chapter of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO).
