Bio

Sanjay Ravi is part of the Private Equity Technology business unit, based in Denver. He is also a member of the Private Equity Direct Co-Investments and Direct Lead Growth Investments in Technology Investment Committee. He has over 26 years of experience in the technology sector. Before joining Partners Group, he spent 17 years at Microsoft, most recently as the General Manager of the Automotive, Mobility & Transportation industry solutions business unit. In this role, he was responsible for building strategic corporate partnerships on a global scale and enabling digital transformation initiatives within the mobility landscape. He also held leadership positions in the Discrete Manufacturing and Tech & Electronics industry sectors. Prior to his time at Microsoft, he worked at i2 Technologies, a specialized software company focused on supply chain management. Sanjay also served on the technology advisory board of DMDII (Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute) and on the advisory board of the Cities and Mobility Program at WBCSD (World Business Council for Sustainable Development). He has earned a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India. He also holds a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems from Syracuse University and is a graduate of the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
