Bio

Andreas Knecht is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Partners Group, based in Zug. He is Head of the Corporate Operations business department and a member of the Executive Team and Global Executive Board. Andreas has been with Partners Group since 2009 and has 25 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Partners Group, he worked as an attorney at a number of different law firms, including Niederer Kraft & Frey, Zurich, advising corporate clients in M&A and financing matters, and as co-lead at Man Group's Continental Europe legal team. He holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Zurich, Switzerland and an LL.M. from New York University, USA. He is also admitted to the Swiss bar.
