Bio

Jim Hale is the founder and Managing Partner of Parallax Capital. Jim has more than 20 years of experience working with and investing in lower middle market technology companies. Jim has been a principal on over 25 technology acquisitions and investments, which have generated over $1 Billion in returns for investors, managers, and employees. Jim has overall responsibility for the firm’s investment strategy, portfolio companies, and personnel. Currently, Jim serves as Chairman of Computron Software, Bunchball, Inc., Fox Technologies and is a Director of Nuelion, Inc. (NLN.TO) and a former director of Daptiv Solutions, Micro Focus International, TriSyn Group, Infor Global, Inovis and MultiGenParadigm, all of which are current or prior Parallax investments. Prior to founding Parallax in 1999, Jim spent three years as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for The Gores Group, a Los Angeles based global private equity firm. Jim spent 10 years in commercial lending with Greyhound Financial Corporation and Heller Financial where he oversaw the funding of numerous cash flow and mezzanine loans to middle market companies. Jim obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in marketing from Ferris State University.
